In March 2025, the China Vocational Education Quality Annual Report (2023), compiled and published by the National Institute of Education Sciences, was officially released. Our school was successfully listed among the International Cooperation Excellence Higher Vocational Colleges (Eastern Region) in recognition of its outstanding achievements in international education.
In recent years, our institution has actively responded to the high-quality development of the Belt and Road Initiative and international industrial capacity cooperation. Leveraging our strengths in textile and apparel, intelligent manufacturing, and other disciplines, we have deepened industry-education integration in line with national industrial transformation plans and global vocational education trends. We have established extensive collaborations with over 20 countries, including the United States, Canada, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, and Vietnam, partnering with both educational institutions and overseas enterprises to create a multi-level, broad-spectrum international cooperation framework.
By constructing a comprehensive development system encompassing input quality, process quality, output quality, and development quality, we have precisely aligned with the industrial chain, educational chain, and innovation chain, advancing high-quality international student education and establishing prestigious overseas colleges. Our efforts have shaped the Harmony & Excellence international education brand and positioned our school as a benchmark for vocational education going global. Having passed the Quality Certification for International Students in Higher Vocational Education and being recognized as a China-ASEAN Vocational Education Excellence Partner, our influence in global vocational education continues to grow, presenting a vivid Jiangsu Model that showcases a credible, appealing, and admirable image of China.
Looking ahead, our school will seize this opportunity to further deepen international cooperation, expand global education initiatives, and enhance the quality of international programs. We aim to extend the systematic export of vocational education standards, resources, and models on a broader scale, contributing to the global industrial development through Chinese vocational education.
The China Vocational Education Quality Annual Report (2023) is an authoritative report commissioned by the Department of Vocational and Adult Education under the Ministry of Education and compiled by the National Institute of Education Sciences. It aims to comprehensively showcase the progress of China’s vocational education reforms and promote high-quality development in modern vocational education. For the first time, the report introduced an International Cooperation Index to evaluate the global engagement of higher vocational colleges nationwide. This index assesses the top 10% of institutions across regions based on five dimensions and 13 indicators, including hosting international students and faculty, Sino-foreign cooperative programs, exporting vocational education standards/resources/equipment, overseas operations, and faculty exchanges.
